About us. We are members of the Johannesburg North Christian Church (JNCC), a church whose vision is to see Christians serve the Lord in grace and freedom. We are effectively a ‘family’ made up of people from various backgrounds, cultures and languages that the Lord has united through our identification with Jesus Christ and our love for one another. You can find us at joburgnorthchristianchurch.org Why the walk. We seek to contribute to a building fund for our church which has out grown the space it has occupied over the last 9 years. In total we would like to raise at least R1 million towards this fund. In addition, we would like to make a difference to communities along the route of our walk by contributing care packs. Specifically the route passes through Magalisburg, Koster, Swartruggens, Tlhogwe, Zeerust, and others areas in the North-West The walk Planned to take place from 23 March 2023 to 1 April, the 375Km walk will be from the Three Digkosi monument in Gaborone Botswana, to the Cradle of human kind in Johannesburg, South Africa. It is planned to take place over 10 days, covering 40Km per day. In total we have we have 6 walkers and 3 people that form the support team.

The Johannesburg North Christian Church family fun day is an annual event that is now in its 3rd year. Take time out on Saturday the 27th July, to spend time playing an assortment of sports, games and enjoying burgers, braai and good food. The event is a fundraiser for our annual CTMI (Church Team Ministries International) youth camp held in Zimbabwe Matopos every August over 5 days. As a church we encourage all youth to attend, and support the less privileged with camp fees and contribute towards their transport costs to be also be a part of this experience. The Matopos camp is a spiritually rich encounter where God has touched many lives in the past and we trust and believe He will continue to do so. The camp has been a tool to shape young lives to serve Jesus. During the camp young people are transformed and equipped to live Godly and faithful lives.
